Overview

ContentGuard AI is built for WordPress sites that want AI-assisted SEO rewriting without losing editorial control. It generates pending versions first, lets you compare original and optimized content side by side, and only saves content after approval.

This build also includes duplicate-run protection. If a post already has pending content, is currently being processed, or has failed repeatedly, cron will skip it instead of sending the same post back to AI over and over again.

Key fixes in this build

• Skip posts that already have pending content.
• Per-post lock to stop repeated AI calls on the same content.
• Failure counter and temporary cooldown after repeated parse/provider errors.
• Raw provider response saved in post meta for debugging.
• More tolerant JSON parsing for AI responses.
